Many people are dissatisfied with how they respond to situations in their lives - who want to feel or act differently but can’t seem to change. I guide people through exploring these situations to uncover what components contribute to the barriers that stand between where you are and where you want to be to better understand and accept yourself. Components that contribute to these barriers are past experiences, intense and uncomfortable feelings, thoughts and beliefs we hold, and self-judgement. These impact our responses to situations, and once we are able to identify them, we can choose different ways of interacting that are based on our values and goals instead of based on old patterns of behaviour.

I enjoy helping people to better understand why they act in certain ways, and to learn to live their lives in ways that bring meaning and purpose. I work from a psychodynamic approach, and draw on aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to support the process of change.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist. I work with adults 18+, and my areas of focus include:

Anxiety, depression, and difficulty with regulating negative emotions, and adult ADHD.

I apply this approach using therapeutic methods and psychoeducation on neurological processes. Understanding your emotional, cognitive, and behavioural responses, is a valuable resource in your therapy.
